Seven Oaks School Division

Seven Oaks School Division is located in the North End of Winnipeg and serves a very diverse learning community. The Division is a growing community which presently serves approximately 12,000 students and employs over 1,500 staff. In our Division, “Community Begins Here” embraces the idea that our schools are at the very heart of our Seven Oaks community.

Process

  • Seven Oaks School Division participates in an annual divisional planning cycle that reviews programs, services and initiatives to ensure accessibility.
  • Information is made available in an accessible format for students and their families, staff and the broader community.
  • Seven Oaks will continue to develop new partnerships with outside agencies to help improve accessibility.

Statement of Commitment

The Seven Oaks School Division celebrates that schools and classrooms reflect a broad diversity of cultures and abilities. The Division offers all students a continuum of programming and services within an inclusive setting, in accordance with the Seven Oaks School Division Mission Statement and policy. Inclusive schools provide supportive learning environments that allow all students to reach their full potential. The Division works to make a positive difference to the lives and life prospects of each and every student by continuing to build initiatives that remove barriers and lead to improved outcomes for all children.
