Climate Action
Climate Action in Seven Oaks School Division
Seven Oaks School Division is committed to excellence in Climate Change Education, engaging youth in climate solutions and fostering eco-literacy through transformational learning and a reconnection to the land. This work is deeply rooted in a commitment to Climate Justice, addressing environmental racism, supporting Truth and Reconciliation, and honouring the 94 Calls to Action.
At the heart of our approach is helping each student discover and embrace their North Star—a sense of purpose for the greater good that reflects their unique gifts, while understanding that our collective community actions are our true strength. By working together, students are empowered to take meaningful steps toward a sustainable and just future, with the recognition that lasting change comes from collaboration. Through this approach, we are helping students grow as global citizens who will contribute to a better world for all.
